  1. Source: The Pampered Chef

1 (6.5 ounce) jar marinated artichoke hearts

1/4 cup pitted ripe olives, chopped

    2 tablespoons red onion, chopped

    3 medium plum tomatoes, chopped

    1 garlic clove, pressed

    2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves

    Salt and pepper to taste

Drain and reserve marinade from artichokes. Chop artichokes and other ingredients. Pour marinade (some or all) onto veggies. Serve with blue tortilla chips.

Another variation is to use canned artichoke hearts, not marinated. I might leave out the basil & olives too. Use Tomatoes, Cilantro, Garlic and Artichokes and onions.

  2. www.allrecipes.com search for salsa and then click on ratings.. and I'd go for the highest rated one.. be careful with cilantro I always put too much & dont forget a little salt.... which i forgot once & it tasted funky.

this site is awesome since it has reviews & ratings.. good luck..

  3. Buy some Mrs Waggs Salsa mix.  Follow the directions and you'll have perfect salsa every time.  This is the way I make my salsa.  Everyone just loves it!!

  4. ok start with a jalepeno or serrano pepper, i prefer a jalepeno.  chop it up small and you may want to use some gloves as to not get your self a chemical burn.  squezze the juice of 1/2 to a whole lime on it and sprinkle a little bit of salt as well.  then chop up so red or white onions, i prefer the red ones.  throw it in the bowl with the jalepeno's.  stir it a little so the lime juice gets the pepper flavor and is now hot lime juice.  Cilantro is a key ingredient in salsa,  you can be with out it but it is So much better with it.  so chop up some of that and put it in the bowl..  your next ingredient is tomatoes.  Home grown ones are the very best, but you can use hothouse tomatoes or romas.  You want more tomatoe than all the other ingredients, but too many and it wont be hot.    and that is  basically it.

there are many variations, using different peppers, onions and tomatoes.  You can also add other veggies to give it a unique kick:

    -avocado

    -mango

    -radish

    -bell pepper

    -cucumber

good luck, hope this was something of what you were looking for :)
