Drop a CV in to every shop or cafe that you wouldnt mind working in.

It will only take a couple of hours of the weekend and you might be surprised how many responses you get.

I work in a clothes store in York town Centre (its a known brand) and they dont advertise for staff, they only do it by word of mouth.
