  1. don`t leave your bike out of eye shot take it with you at all times, because some people will pinch any thing they see

  2. There is a great online bike lock shop that has some really great bike locks.  Their website is http://www.bike-locks.com .

  3. I have a £2000 bike and I secure it using a very good quality D lock and a separate flexible lock.  Don't waste your time with combination locks - even the least-experienced pick-pocket can undo those.  Use two locks if you can and always lock them through the frame (not just the wheel).  I lock the  D lock throught the thickest part of the frame, then use the flexible lock to lock the wheels in place.  Also, make sure the thing you're locking them to is secure - it sounds obvious, but thieves have been known to loosen bike racks from the ground, so that they can unthread and steal the bikes once they've been locked up.

  4. If u want a good lock then the Granit plus 51 is a brilliant 1 bit expensive tho at around £60 but if ur bike expensive worth the money. Um if u want to get it you should try the specialised bike shops thats where i got mine from
