I need a serious questions bout dvds?

i have alot of regual dvd movies and a hd tv. without the hd cords cuz i dnt need them with a reugular dvd player. is there any way to use my quality tv to make the pictures sharper with my rugular dvd player. any other cords to but that will make my tv sharper other then hd. but i didnt really think so....

No Matt,

Your TV can only play as good a picture as it gets. It can't improve it.

When you get a higher definition DVD player then you will be able to offer a higher quality signal for your TV to display.

uh, yeah, hardly understood what your saying. but I will say that you can use component output to better improve your regular DVD's quality over your hd set.

The best connection is HDMI....if your tv or dvd player do not have that type of cable connection then the next best one is component video.
