Paris, the world's sexiest man of 1184 B.C., won the favor of Aphrodite who promised him he would mary Helen, the most beautiful woman in the world.  And he did, by stealing her from her husband, Menelaus.  Menelaus had a posse.  They went to war with Troy but could not surpass its walls.  So they built a hollow wooden horse and climbed inside.  They pretended to abandon the horse and one of their men pretended to be a deserter, sympathetic to Troy, who gave the horse to the Trojans as a gift.  The Trojans brought the wooden horse inside the city gates and chaos ensued.
