Well, how GOOD is Honey?  I guess you mean not just a "show" horse but a working horse on a circuit or something?  If you named her "Blue Ribbon Honey" would that be too presumptious??????  <blink>  <blink>

If you named her "Good Looking Honey" probably everyone would think that would be your name, huh???  That probably wouldn't work.  And "Barn Honey" wouldn't be any good either, would it?

I don't know!  Something geographic maybe, but I don't know where your horse lives!  Cheyenne Honey would not be too far off if you want to keep her name.  I mean, Honey IS her registered name, is it not?

I had a girlfriend from Notus Idaho whose young black stalion was named "Nightshade", and she just shortened the horse's name to "Shade" when she ran the circuits with him.  Can't shorten "Honey" I guess.  Hon?  Ney?  <blink>  <blink>

Well, I don't know.  My own prejudices are that I would just go with my horse's registered name and leave it at that!  If you want a celebrity name for your horses in the future, you better think of something when you first get your horse and register it, provided it's not an old adult!
