like, 3-4 ingrediants. and it has to be plain or vanilla-y, and it must be white so i can dye it colors :]

  1. READY -- KOOL WHIP AND YOUR FAVORITE FLAVORED JELLO INSTANT PUDDING. JUST ADD JELLO TO WHIP CREAM..AND THERE YOU GO. MAKE SURE YOUR CAKE IS COMPLETELY COOLED.

    2 teaspoons vanilla

    4 cups powdered sugar

    4 tablespoons milk


  3. i have a cookbook right in front of me, and this is a recipe for vanilla b-day cake frosting.

    2 sticks butter, sofened

    2 tsp vanilla extract

    1/4 tsp salt

    4 cups powdered sugar

    1 tablespoon meringue powder(baking section of grocery store/

    1 tbsp milk

    1. combine butter, vanilla, and salt.  add butter and beat with electric mixer on meadium high speed untill fluffy.

    2. add powdered sugar 1/2 cup at a time on low speed. add meringue powder.

    3. add milk and beat on high speed until fluffy, 5 mins.

  4. Vanilla Butter-cream

    1/2 cup butter, softened

    1 (3-oz.) package cream cheese

    1 (16-oz) package powdered sugar

    1/4 cup milk

    1 tsp. vanilla extract

    beat butter and cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating at low speed untill blended. Increase speed to medium, and slowly add milk and vanilla, beating untill smooth. Makes 3 cups

  6. Lets see. I use milk (1 tbs) Butter (1/4 cup) Vanilla (1 tsp) Powdered sugar (2 cup +). In order to have a frosting that is going to make roses, shapes, etc. add more powdered sugar to thicken. To thin, use more milk.

    I think this will work, I use it every once in a while when i want to save on icing.

    EDIT: This doesn't make a whole lot.

  7. 1 lb. confectioners' sugar

    1/2 c. butter, softened

    1 tsp. vanilla extract

    3 tbsp. milk

    Food coloring (optional)

    I also add salt to this recipe to cut the sweetness.

  9. Try this one... I've made this with my niece before and used food coloring in it for cupcakes.

    SOUR CREAM FROSTING

    1 1/4 cups powdered sugar

    1 teaspoon vanilla

    1/4 cup sour cream (approximately)

    In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredient and vanilla. Whisk in sour cream, a tablespoonful at a time, until it is spreadable.
