  1. I have a chorkie ( a chuiaua yorkie) and she is also really playful and also can be really calm and sweet at times i think this would be a really good dog lol i absolutley love her =D

  2. Chihuahuas are good dogs, they are small and low maintenance

    west highland white terrier

    jack russell

  3. Dog ownership requires yor time and love, as well as $$$$.  If you have the time for one, consider adopting from a rescue organization.  These are different from shelters, in that the dogs are usually in foster homes, so the foster "parents" know the dog fairly well and can assist you in finding one that suits your lifestyle.  You can look at thousands of dogs online, such as petfinder.com, and you can research various breeds to see what you think.

Keep in mind that the breed only indicates activity level in general, and you can get one dog that is high-energy and one that is low-energy from the same litter.

Puppies are a LOT more work than a grown dog.  Consider adopting a 2-year-old (or older) from perhaps someone that is moving.

Lastly there is a lot of free information on the internet about dog training.  Training, at any age, with get you closer to the picture in yor mind of what you want yor dog to be like. Good luck!

  4. seach low matininence dog on google i am sure u will find something

  5. Pugs are low-maintenance

i know because i have one.

they are not very energetic and only need a 15 minute walk a day and 30 minute play.

they need fed once every morning and once every night

they can live up to 14 years (some living longer)

they shed but they do not need too much grooming maybe a brushing every week and a bath every month

they only weigh about  13-20 pounds

Cocker Spaniels are medium-sized and are low-maintenence

  6. A CHOW CHOW they are so cool and there not to big and not to little

  7. get a beagle or golden retriver

  8. probably. a smaller or medium dog that does not need to go on long walks. and probably short hair or non shedding. I PERSONALLY LIKE English Bull Dogs because they don't require long daily walks or VERY much grooming.  i have a Cocker - Chon ( Cocker Spainel / Bichon Frise mix)

and he usually sleeps. like you i go to school and my parents work.

  9. Pretty much any well-trained dog would be fine by itself while no one was home. I would recommend waiting until the beginning of the summer to get the dog if you want a puppy so you have time to train it. I would also recommend crate training so when the school year starts if the dog isn't quite hose broken or trusted to not chew on things it can be left in the crate while you're at school. There are a lot of great breeds out there that are medium sized, my first choice would probably be a border collie or a cocker spaniel. Both super cute dogs and don't get too big. Border collies are super trainable and obedient. Cocker spaniels are very kind loving dogs, that once trained would be happy to cuddle up with your mom to take a nap while you're at school. Some other good breeds are french bulldogs, border terriers, beagles (a bit noisy), dachshund, shetland sheep dog, or a basset hound.

  10. Good luck finding that type of dog. All dog need a lot of attention and love. I had a Dachshund, and they did find by them selves during the day. That is the best I can suggest to you. Like I said before - Good Luck with your search!

  11. Sorry, but the only dogs like you want are the stuffed variety :)  All dogs require maintenance - they require regular grooming, just like you do; they require adequate training and health maintenance.   It is possible that you really don't 'need' a dog at all.  Why would you think you 'need' a dog in the first place?

  12. That's a hard question to answer, everyone has dogs they feel are either the perfect dog, or the worst dog. It is my belief that dogs are what you train them to be. Also breeding is VERY important. I used to only buy dogs from the pound, or a rescue type situation, I got my first registered dog about 6 years ago (newfoundland) and after that i was sold, registered dogs (from exceptional breeders, NOT pet stores) have less health issues, stable temperaments, and they even smell better then stray dogs.

I hear poodles are the worlds smartest dogs, and they come in many sizes.

I own a Yorkie (she is 3lbs on the small siide) and is a great dog, never chews or yaps, BUT small dogs are VERY hard to potty train, they hate going out when it's cold.

I dont know if this was helpful, there is a website www.puppyfind.com has some very useful information on each dog breed.

  13. Beagles are AMAzing dogs

  14. That sounds just like my dog. My dog is a mixed breed, blue heeler, red heeler, staffy, rottwheiler, doberman and some other stuff. She is medium sized, doesn't bark much and with basically no training is very good and handles being alone well :). And mixed breeds are less likely to develop health problems as they grow up (she's 9 years old and hasn't had a single health problem yet!.)

  15. A Shiba Inu

  16. I have a male toy cockapoo (mix of cocker spaniel/toy poodle).  He grew to about 15 lbs and is very friendly/fun to play with.  He does not shed and can go a long time without being walked (about 12 hrs max)
