well its all really based on opinion. you should try the feel of all your options to see whats right for you. but for a standard street skateboard there are some recommendations. Wheels should be in the 50mm-55mm range. i recommend black with no graphic since white gets dirty and ugly and the graphic slowly deteriorates. for trucks you want down-lows, and something durable. krux and silvers are my favourite brands for trucks. for bearings you want the smoothest possible, speed isn't a huge factor for most street skating. you should get bone reds since they go for about 16 bucks and are very smooth. although they do break easily. but I skate black panthers they are the smoothest bearings available and at a fair price. ABEC 3 black panthers are ones you should look into. Decks really don't matter but decks with great pop are: plan B, enjoi, zero, mystery. for shoes your don't need the best grip but durability is a huge issue. I bought circas 2 weeks ago and all my laces broke on my front foot the grip is gone and the front of my shoes is wearing away. fallen's shoes are diffidently my favourite. and for the risers, you want want down-low trucks the lowest so you don't want risers. unless your really worried about your impact from youur trucks, but when your start i dont see you doing any insane drops or jumps. spend as much money as you can, you want luxury when you start skating so you dont ahve any excuses and you know that what your skating is right.

get a baker or an almost , there both good,light board that last a long time and have good pop.
