  1. For size I'd recommend 147-155cm and since you're only 120 lbs, I'd stick to a shorter sizes, it depends on how much you think you can handle it.  I'm 5'3'' and 110lbs and the 147 was a great length for my beginners board.  A shorter length means you will have more control and more flexibility.  Start off with a cheap board, like from a used shop or online, the once you can handle it, and if you decide snowboarding is right for your, upgrade to something a little bigger and more durable.  I upgraded for the first time this year to a Burton Blunt, and I'm loving it.

Good luck and have a great season!

  2. if your real new to the sport then go with a shorter board probably about 150 you should check around for a few year old boards their almost as good and a heck of a lot cheaper

  3. ebay dude

  4. About a 145 - maybe a little longer if you are still growing. It also depends on what kind of riding you want to do. Try this calculator to give you some suggestions:

I would suggest a Ride board. I just saw a Ride "Grace" board at Sports Authority for only $150 - a great board to learn on and to get better on.

    Good Luck
