Do yourself a favor and instead of babysitting and some of those other answer's, It's not glamorous, but try collecting aluminum can's, first on garbage night when everyone has there recyclables out on the curb roll up with a shopping cart and empty them out, go to the regular places you have seen cans laying around and pick them up,

do the glass and cardboard to they all pay well, look at it this way,  you pay for the drink, and the glass or the can, then pay a company to take them away so they can make money,

at the price of aluminum, and copper,and glass you can do very well.

If you're interested in computers, IT, web-mastering etc.

Spend your time trying to learn. visit websites and watch online tutorials. That's how i spent my summer when i was about 15 years old.

If you have some experience fixing computers, call your relatives, ask them to recommend you to other people.

but most important learn.

Try to learn as much as possible so you'll have some experience/knowledge later on.

Also, I used to do some landscaping for an old lady.

just enjoy your time, babysit for neighbors is about all you could try to do

babysitting, unless your family owns a business it is illegal for you to work.  I'm 17 and that is what I still do.  you get paid fairly well too.  Another plus is no taxes.

Signholding, makes about 10 dollars a hour to so its good money, just very very boring. Bring a Ipod or bluetooth headset and talk on the phone. it helps pass time
