  1. Rainforest is considered the most important ecosystem in the world as it has not only have high economic value in terms of its timber, it is also rich in natural resources and commodities such as crude oil and natural gas deposits especially in Southeast Asia, Central Africa and South America.  It is also home to a number of exotic animals such as parrots, monkeys, etc and highly prized new medicinal drugs came from rainforests.

    The greatest asset of rainforests comes from maintaining the Earth's life-supporting systems.  These includes cycling essential nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus, absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, regulating temperature and precipitation, protecting watersheds from soil erosion and harboring pollinators for agricultural crops.

    I hope these will help you with what you are intending to do or write.  Good luck

  2. rainforests provide most of the fresh oxygen we need.

  3. rainforests realy do filter the chemicals, like the mushrooms or other fungi they are the basic natural filters of these chemicals that are hard to dispose or to break.

    rainforests also provide the natural beauty of the earth, it celebrates how magnificent the creation is. and how these complicated different life forms of ecosystem has built up over the years and HOW THIS ECOSYSTEM HAS FORMED and SURVIVED FOR BILLION OF YEARS AND IS STILL SURVIVING BY ITSELF SUSTAINABLY(one's trash is another's food) without the help of humans.

  4. 90% of the world pharmacuticals come from less than 10% of the known plants in the rain forests.

    Trees=oxygen=life

    Millions of plants yet to be discovered/researched.

  5. All Plants, including rain forests, are the only thing that can  remove toxins from the air and turn it into oxygen for us to breathe.

    Please check the results from "NASA's Clean Air Plant Study completed several years ago..

    "Common indoor plants may provide a valuable weapon in the fight against rising levels of indoor air pollution. Those plants in your office or home are not only decorative, but NASA scientists are finding them to be surprisingly useful in absorbing potentially harmful gases and cleaning the air inside modern buildings."

    "NASA research has consistently shown that living, green and flowering plants can remove several toxic chemicals from the air in building interiors. You can use plants in your home or office to improve the quality of the air to make it a more pleasant place to live and work - where people feel better, perform better, any enjoy life more."

    TOP 10 plants most effective in removing: formaldehyde, benzene, and carbon monoxide from the air.
