I need a theme for a house-warming party. Any ideas?

There will be small children, so please, no 's**y' ideas or anything like that.

Please no fancy dress ideas!

I've checked a few website suggestions, so please don't just link to them, it really doesn't help!

It's for a rather large group of friends and family, so we honestly don't want to be giving anything out.

my parents and sister went to a hawaiian theme, they said it was casual and fun. they didnt hafta get TOO dressed up and yet it stil held the hawaiin theme.

-laterns and tiki torches are great

- those hawaain flowers shirts and khaki shorts for guys, while the ladies can wear free flowing dresses.



if u&#039;d like, u can even give out leis (i think u can gettem for cheap at dollar store or somethjing) u dont hafta tho...

What about a Disney Theme there&#039;s a lot ot party food/ table stuff available and I&#039;m sure theres always a favourite character of everyones mind,from Bambi to Jack Sparrow,MickeyMouse to The wicked stepmother or Queen. You could make your own punch or cocktails and name them yourself,Disney appropriate i.e Jungle book Juice etc.Whether they&#039;re &#039;butch&#039; for the men or Tink-Like for the kids or &#039;wicked alcoholic&#039; for those of us who indulge or non alcoholic for drivers etc.You could get some nice helium filled balloons weighted with curling ribbon and plastic bangles in corners around the house.I suppose the kids could dress up as theres lots of Disney outfits on sale quite reasonably priced.Anyhow you asked for a &quot;theme&quot; not a book...... Have a great time whatever you choose and Congrats in your new home!!!
