I need a theme ideas and an activity for a festival type thing? Please help! I have one hour to think it up?

ok, we are setting up this festival and we need a theme. The director gave an example of like a beach theme for the festival where we have sand, people dressed up in bathing suits, people with surf board as dress up. We just dress up like that and make the place look like a beach party as example. But it can't be that. What is another good theme for a festival idea? Also we need an activity show to entertain people and I can't think of anything for that either. As an example, he said like a skit or something. What are some other ideas to entertain. Please help! Thanx!

Knowing what the festival was for would help. Is this to benefit a specific organization or association? Is there a charity to receive the monies?

What time of year will you be holding it?

Do you have a venue already in place?

What is your budget?
