  1. Voile

  2. this would be referred to as "Sheer Curtains" they can be found anywhere curtains are sold.  They would be considered window treatments.

  3. Voile is generally what they make sheers out of.

Then there is chiffon, sheersucker and silk.

  4. I think I have heard the thin/see through fabric for windows referred to as "sheers" on the HG channel.

  5. I don't know the fabric, but you could ask what fabric would be best to make sheer curtains - someone could tell you what to look for - sorry

  6. If you are buying them look for sheer curtains. Generally, the plain ones an inexpensive are a Polyester Sheer Fabric. They can be made in many types of "other" fabrics and the cost goes up up and away....Silk is very nice, but very expensive in comparison. Voile, Embroidered Sheers, and then some are very thin linen. Good Luck...

  7. There are several answers to that one - usually it is Voile or polyester sheer or embroidered Tergal, here in Quebec we call it "Plein Jour".

Look up the guidence section on the A.C.

    Moore website.
