I need a tip on what to say . . .

i'm going to a concert in a few days & i have cheerleading two a days ; my coach is kinda strict ; what should i tell him i have going on that i can't go to practice ? i don't want it to be far from the truth . something like i have tickets to go somewhere with a family friend ?

  1. Just tell him that you and a family friend have tickets to an event.  You don't have to give any details since the details are really not his concern.  If there is a penalty for missing cheerleading practice then you have to deal with that.


  2. Im goin with my family out of town! Then just name the town the concerts in, but ONLY if he asks!

  3. Explain that you have a family gathering that you need to attend on that day and will be unable to attend practice and what do you need to know so that you will not be behind in your activities for that missed day.

  4. You shouldn't have to lie. Just say you have somewhere you have to be. You are entitled to spend your time as you wish.  

  5. Say you have a personal event to attend to. If he asks what, say, "It's personal."
