I need a title for a party?

Hi. I am going to throw my son a party but I am not sure what to call it. My son will finish the 8th grade but here in NC they do not hold 8th grade graduation. The party is for him entering high school. Do you have any ideas on what I can call the party?

u dont need to call it anything.. just say to celebrate his transitition into high school you would like to celebrate!

Well since im in the nineth throw him a Freshman party. Or something to do twith the highschool. Or just a congratulation party. Ask Him.

When my daughter was in either Girl Scouts or Camp Fire Girls, but they had a "Flying Up" party for their moving up to the next level. It was very nice, but the details escape me now.

How about "Flying High to High school"? Let your imagination take over with an airplane theme.

the original  "8th grade graduation, or just the plain "graduation party."

"welcoming the new freshman."
