I need a topic that would provide a great argument between 2 people...??

Question

For my philosophy class I have an assignment that requires me to write a dialog between two people who are arguing about something. And ideas for a a topic? Preferably something with moral values. My teacher gave as this example: Parents should spank their children.

Nowadays with society leaning towards being non-violent, spanking children has been (in some case, scientifically) proven that it will change the child's personality greatly in the future as compared to a child who receives hugs and kisses throughout their childhood.  The ones being spanked becomes the evil and bad guys (or the very very timid ones) due to all the abuse while the rest become optimistic (or in some cases, spoiled) people.

I don't know if abortion has been taken yet...

the second thing that popped into my head was whether its okay for moms to work instead of stay at home with their kids, and if the dad stays home instead, or if they both work.

you could write about something really taboo and controversial like a mum arguing with her son because she just walking in on him and his aunt kissing or like mum's arguing with someone from 60 minutes host because she's having a baby just to get stem cells to cure another of her kids

Hi, Its simple, just look at the news reports, pick ANY war or major disturbance, see what they were arguing over that escalated into war etc and you have your answer.
