...I need a video splitter?

Question

Can you please tell me a free, easy to use program that can cut what scenes I want from a video file?And maybe where to download it from?

I already have AviSplit Classic, but that only works for avi files , and Easy Video Splitter, which I certainly don't like using [it doesn't work!]..., any other programs worth using?

Do you have windows?  Windows Movie Maker is a simple and easy program that sounds like it would fit your needs.  Installed on Windows XP and up I believe.

Windows Movie Maker (it's free).

But only for the following formats:

•Video files: .asf, .avi, .wmv

•Movie files: MPEG1, .mpeg, .mpg, .m1v, .mp2

•Audio files: .wav, .snd, .au, .aif, .aifc, .aiff

•Windows Media files: .asf, .wm, .wma, .wmv

•Still images: .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .jpe, .jfif, .gif

•MP3 format audio: .mp3

I always use ultra video joiner, it works great for me to join avi files into one, you can free download  to try,

Else Virtualdub is an option, but not that easy to use.
