I need a way to convince my parents to move to l.a for my acting , any advice on how i should convince them ?

Have you thought for one minute how selfish your question with today's recession going on. Its hard to put food on the table let alone pay the rent and the bills. What kind of job do you have and how much do you contribute to the family right now? Have you finished high school? Its ok to wish to be famous everyone who goes to LA wants the same thing to be recognized for their talent.Have you had acting classes?

Do you have a portfolio? There is allot to consider in asking your parents to up root their jobs and  relocate to full fill your desires , I suggest you turn 18 and try it on your own with a couple roommates and not put such a selfish burden on your parents. There is plenty of time to  this. Be patient if you are truly talented someone where you live will notice . Have you gone to where they film movies in your area to be an extra to get a feel of the set? You have a ton of things to consider.

you should get an audition for a major role in a show first then your parents would have to go their for an audition

start doing community theatre first to show that u are really serious
