I need a way to destroy Search assist,how?

Clicking turn off and disable DOES NOT work at all.I tried both and every day that type in the search bar,yahoo tells me options where I should go! I know what I'M looking for,don't want your ideas yahoo! Anyone know if there is something else? Thanks

Go to your control panel, then click add/remove programs icon. It should be listed under there, then click remove and it will totally remove it from your computer (if you are using windows)
