I need a way to start my speech! plz help?

I am writing a speech on the media and the effect it has on children (playstation,fast food, tv etc.) I need a clever way of starting. Preferably humorous so I can get the audiences attention. My english teacher suggested a joke, poem, anecdote or role play. Help please :)

start by immitating some people from ,movies,tv and news. say some famous lines from ads like geico,master card etc. internet memes, then sing a rick roll. by this time everyone wil be like wtf is she doing and u ll have their attention. then you can start the conventional speech and explain how the stuff you said and more has become part of our lives and how it effects us.good luck.
