  1. National Weather Service Doppler Radar for your area:

    http://www.srh.noaa.gov/crp/

(Yes, I know it's Corpus Christi, we're going to get you past that...)

After you log on, you will see the NOAA logo in the upper left hand corner, kind of resembles a bird against the sky.

Immediately below that, you will see this text:

    Local weather forecast by

    "City, St" or zip code

Immediately below that is a search box.  Enter the name of YOUR city and state in the format shown in the example.

That will be YOUR NWS homepage.  BOOKMARK it.  You should now have a page that is displaying Forecast At a Glance.

Below the icons on the right side of the page you should be able to see your current conditions.  Below that you will see Radar and Satellite Images.  Click on the radar.  It takes you to another page.

Now below the NOAA logo in the left hand corner you will see Adjacent Radars.  Below that, MOST IMPORTANT, Short Range Images. Below that, Reflectivity: You want BASE. Click Loop and the page refreshes with a JAVA load. wait for it to load.  Immediately below the screen (that is now in motion) you will see the controls. Click on the button that says Auto Update Is OFF.  This will turn it on.  Just to make sure everything keeps going, I always click the refresh button after everything is updated. and it will continue to update itself until you stop it.  I know this looks lengthy but once you get your city, you will be viewing the radar like you want in less than 60 seconds.  Don't forget to bookmark YOUR hometown page!
