What kind of card games? Actually, my favorite family card game is Bohnanza. It's like a trading/negotiations style card game. You need at least 4 people to make it fun. I included a link below. It's a very reasonably priced game, easy to learn, ridiculously fun to play. The box claims 45 minutes a game, but in my experience, it generally takes over an hour.
