  1. No, I DO believe in the rights of women, but I do not stress everyday living and try to relate everything to sexism and our rights....

    good? ;-]

  2. I am a feminist because although women have equal rights by law (in my country at least) many others don't and the rights we have now can easily go away if they're not protected.

Of course like everyone I want equality and happiness for both genders but women have been oppressed for thousands of years and the world is a better place where women are empowered.

  3. No, I do not. I think most women use petty excuses as a crutch. I am more on the guy's side..but I don't consider either s*x more important than the other. I think that what the other s*x lacks, the opposite s*x makes up for. I believe that it is all balanced out.  We are ourselves...and the only thing that matters is that half+half=whole. I think that we come up with ideas about men/women and we get too caught up in that. Not all men are cheating, slimy pigs. And not all women are moody during that "time" of the month.

  4. I do not consider myself a feminist just because the title seems demeaning... My fiance believes I am because I adore the fact that women are considered equals in the United States and that we are just as good as a man. We can have power and authority if we want it. Either way we have an opinion and we have strength. We are built strong willed and can do almost anything. Maybe I am a feminist after all. Smiles!!!

  5. nope, because i believe in equal rights for all groups - not just in the woman/man scenario but also when it comes to race, religion, ability etc. i consider myself a human being with concerns for social justice.

  6. No.  I believe you earn what you want and live by the rule:

Do unto others what you would have them to unto you.

In other words, I treat people as well as I wish to be treated.

  7. I am definitely a feminist and proud of it.  Short version:  have lived long enough to know what it was like before - and fortunately following, the feminist movement.  I also strongly believe my mother would have chosen life if she was given more choices in her time.

  8. I am absolutely a feminist, just because I call things as I see it. My beliefs correspond with feminism and I see no legitimate reason not to be honest about it.

  9. Not really, though I do believe in womens rights, but then if there is focus on mens rights, I'm interested too.

Am more of a fence sitter, would rather make up my own mind about issues than follow a pack.
