I need a working visa in France!

I am American but my mother is Dutch... is there a way that I can obtain permission to work through that? Thanks a lot!!!!

  1. Having a Dutch mom probably won't carry much weight with the French immigration authorities. You may have better luck by trying to use your family ties to get Dutch citizenship. Once you have that, you'll be legal to work anywhere in the European Union.


  2. no, unless you take your Dutch citizenship,you could circulate trough the schengen zone ,but still have to have a work visa,

    first you need a job and then a  work visa for France,
