I need a xp in order to download on to my computer, however mine is a windows 2000?

You purchase the program disk, and install it.

Vista will not work on that older model computer.

XP can be found on eBay.

You have to buy WinXP or Vista and upgrade your computer from Win2000.  Not free, not cheap.  You cannot just download it from Microsoft.  They like to make money from their newer products by selling them.
