I need advice, my 10 year old is having trouble in school.?

he has trouble keeping focas during school work and his grades are suffering what can i do to help him?

ok send your 10 year old to a tutor thingy after school or make a list that says study time at whatever time or somethen.

He might have ADD.  

Get him tested for that and a few other behavioral issues that could be causing it(your doctor will know what to do).  

Medication might be necessary as a last resort, but there should be programs within his school that'll give him the kind of attention he needs to focus.

My 9 year old does not stay focused because either he is bored or his mind has moved on to the next thing.  We have found that he needs a very structured class and we have requested teachers that are more disciplined.  This seems to help.  Both you and the teacher needs to be consistent and when he is not giving his work his best effort make him go back and do it again.  I once made my son rewrite a paper 10 times before it was acceptable.  He now knows better than to rush through an assignment just to get it done and has an A average.
