I need advice ,what should i do a documentary on ,everyone answer =]?

Okay so since it's the summer,and i have nothing to do i was just thinking it would be fun to do a documentary,especially since im getting my video cam soon,

iv'e came up with a few idea's but i think thier dumb,

Does anyone else have any suggestion's besides "world peace"

I don't want to make a documentary someone already did

i want someone or something that's "odd" and "mysterious".

I think you should do one on Rasputen from Russia. He was an interesting person.

You could also do one on maybe the Crusades or maybe Greek or Roman culture.

Find something local that has a kind of mysterious or shady reputation.

All over the US, there are places that are now restaurants that were speakeasies during Prohibition. Ask around, the local historical society may know, or know someone who might. Every once in a while, you get an older person who has some interesting stories to tell about those days.

Sometimes the current owner may have discovered something unusual, like a disappearing bar, where they'd pull a lever and the bottles would all drop down below the floor and break, and the evidence would run down the sewer.

Do a documentary about reenacting! Thats fun, and you can interview reenactors and provide some historical background...

Call your local newspaper and see if they know of any special  interest stories that might be a good topic. I thinking like any support groups for Viet Nam veterans, or somthing like that.
