I have a question!

I need advice on a hairstyle ( i'm pregnant )-

I asked it in the haircut section

I just thought you guys would have better advice

( you've pretty much all been there done that, lol )

I am pregnant and have been putting off changing hairstyles

( I don't want to color my hair bc of the baby, I know they have safer dyes...I would just rather not)

But- I think I found something That would work without hair dye

( i'm dirty blonde )

Here's a picture:

I'm thinking the bangs will make my face thinner.

(pregnancy, lol)

What do you think???

Any better ideas?

I want to try and keep the hair long

Thanks!

  1. How far along are you?

I really like that hairdo coz its still s**y hot and young. I wanted to take advantage of the fact hair is meant to grow quick in preg and grow mine longer as Im not a low maintenance gal (not high either - but Im not a frump) anyway I got SUPER SICK with hyperemesis and couldn't even lift my arms to comb my hair anymore and it was turning into dreadlocks! *tear* so at 13 weeks I sat in the HDs vom bag in hand and they chopped it to my shoulders. At 24 weeks I got it a bit more fashionably cut with a bit of a concave. I kinda like it but Ive been told I look "cute - like a mum" Gee... thanks... I wanna be a mum but somehow "you look like a model" is more enticing to me lol.

I was super worried about the chemicals as they can be evident in your blood stream afew hours later from absobing thru your scalp so I only had foils (when well enough to get hair done) but seriously, Im 37 weeks now and got my done with all over colour the other day. My bub has been thru so much and survived. Ive learned not to be over the top about every little detail. Pregnancy is a hard time on your self esteem you need to look after yourself! The catecolamines (stress hormones) you release aren't the best for bub either. Its your choice! Take it easy on yourself! As far as the bangs go though - i love them but I find a fringe softens (and roundens) your face more than making it look skinnier. This has been good for me coz I was so sick I looked like a skeleton so a fringe suits me well. Congrats!
