I am disabled (I haven't gotten disability yet) and I have been living on the few hours I can work plus my extra financial aid from school online. I am about to get evicted and if that happens I will get much sicker living with family, it isn't something I can handle so the idea that I might have to gives me an anxiety attack, I'm not comfortable talking about why. I feel like giving up. I take medication because of how much pain I am in and it just stopped working yesterday. I cant stop crying. I am in so much pain and I dont want to loose my home.

Does anyone know how I can get quick cash? I already donate plasma when I can and my credit is awful because of medical bills.

I am also trying to find a job that I can do from home but I keep only finding scams. I have no money and no credit so if anyone is thinking about trying to con me, it will really get you nowhere.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

    P.S- Hope this helps!

  2. First, see if you can work out something with your landlord.  If that doesn't work, get on the Sec. 8 list if it is open.  The waiting list may be long but you still want to be on it.

If neither works right now and you really don't want to move back with family, how about renting a room in someone's home?  Often an elderly person will have more house than they need and be happy for a little income, some help with chores and the security of someone else living there.

  3. I may have more questions than answers for you....

Have you called your mortgage company to explain the situation?  In today's real estate market - they may be more open to working with on re-structuring your payment plan?  There's also something called a "reverse Mortgage" - I don't know much about it, but before you dive into it - call a couple of banks/lenders and ask them what they know about them.

What about Consumer Credit Counseling?  I think that they work on your behalf so you can pay off debt, but on terms that you can live with.

Do you attend any local church/religious services?  Often times the congregations and pastors are GREAT sources of help/inspiration in times like these.  Many civic leaders do their volunteer work through their churchs and you might find someone who can help with things like financial planning/ credit counseling/ financial restructuring.

Are there any resources available to you through your current employer or school (employers often have "EAP" plans that offer free legal, financial and psychological counseling/services)?

Depending on your disability - it's hard to know what kinds of jobs you might be able to do - I do know that there's a company called "Cloud 10" and they have work-at-home people who do customer service work for companies like Comcast, etc....

I think that you need to focus on saving your home first - then focus on getting work and then school - but again, since I don't know the details of your situation, please take my advice with a few grains of salt.

Good luck and do your best to take care of yourself - you deserve the security of knowing that your basic needs will be met.
