  1. Work hard in Highschool because it matters for college.

  2. Just be yourself...High school is easy if you do your home work and study... Get good grades too so you can get into a good college/university... It's perfectly normal to get nervous in you first day but in the second day of school you'll feel better...

  3. High school is scary!! My best advice would be to pay attention to al of your classes. My biggest mistake in Highschool was not paying attention, and realizes how much you can learn, and how much High school prepares you for college. Ignore the drama, and hit the books.

  4. see i'm a high school passed out, i'd suggest you to be nice with everyone you can, be friendly & make sure to show least attitude, because that is the problem in many kids & just try to be as humble as you can, by which you will get good friends + everyone will be after you..

    (:

    good luck

  5. Don't worry . . . everybody will be nervous.  They may not admit it, but they will be.  Just be friendly toward everyone and enjoy your high school experience.

  6. dont worry about these kind of things. if your really confident, but not up yourslef, you will be fine and dont care so mch what people think. i know it sounds cheesy, but join the clubs you like, wear what you wnat and people will like you - whoever you are as long as its yourslef

  7. ok try to be very active and join clubs sports. Dont be shy or anything. Just be very involved with the school, studyy but not too hard. Dont get mixed up with the wrong crowd. Omgg dont give a **** about girls who cause drama, just ignore them and move on. Dont act like a s**t.andddd have FUN!

  8. Study try not to go to crazy parties ......and make sure if you want to go to college to read so you can get decent grades. Good luck there is nothing to worry about. And also try not to worry about what people think.

  9. in the "Search for questions:" box type in "high school tips" and you'll get a lot of answers! good luck!

  10. freshman year: get your bearings. take the opportunity to meet new people you probably haven't met before, and definitely enjoy the fact that you might have some classes with older students. explore a few clubs, and join a bunch of them, and drop out after the first week if it's something you don't like. enjoy yourself! this is probably one of your easiest years, so make sure you stay on top of school work. don't hesitate to talk with your teachers. now's the time where people start treating you a little bit more like an adult, and you'll be surprised at the amazing friendships and resources you'll find with an adult you trust.

sophomore year: the second easiest year. don't get too cocky about being 'older than the stupid freshmen'. as a rule, sophomores are more annoying than freshmen. start to realize that next year will be difficult.  don't get into too many wild parties, but be sure to enjoy yourself. start trying to get leadership positions: secretary in clubs, etc. don't be shy about making a good reputation for yourself -- whether its in the theatre club, or in band, or in the art department. think about your hs schedule for the next two years, and make sure you get in all the classes you want to try out. take all the electives you can -- clay, music, languages -- but make sure to get your requirements in asap (ie, most colleges recommend 2 years of a foregin language).

junior year: try to take it easy. it's hard for everyone, even if you're not someone who's focussed on schoolwork. this is not a good year to make new boyfriends and get wrapped up in your social life, but because you're an older teenager, you probably will! you're probably going to take the act or sat. these tests are pretty important. make sure you do well, or if you don't, retake them. most students take these tests in april, but if you're really serious about doing well, i'd probably try taking the test as early as september and keep retaking them. also, remember that colleges and universities *love* community/volunteer service, and clubs/sports, and most people realize that too late... so in senior year, everyone joins a million clubs. x) by junior year some people stay a part of a million clubs, but others get completely devoted to one or two clubs or sports, which is totally fine! keep trying for a leadership position, like captain or vice president. try to keep your grades up.

senior year: college time! love your last year, and remember that some of these people you might lose contact with after highschool. take a lot of electives because this is probably the year you have the most freedom with your schedule -- don't be shy about joining something new. this is a confusing part of your life, but also crazy fun. remember to apply for scholarships, talk a lot to your guidance counselor or any other trusted adult, and get set to go on the road to adulthood. this will be your best year.

  11. I'm a senior in high school. Ummm try not to act in the heat of the moment. If a really bad situation presents itself (and it will) just wait to act and make sure thats what you want to do. Also get your permit when you turn 15 because you don't want to wait a long time after you're sixteen to get your license. Also don't think that the senior boys have crushes on you they just want to bone you lol. Good luck it's fun

  12. Seriously your first day should be just for you incoming sevies to get used to the building... they're likely to be really really leanient on the not making it to class on time. If your school doesn't allow you to carry bags to and from class just get a binder and carry that around with you (those zip up binders are awsome) get some dividers and organize your classes and folders so you wont have to make a trip to your locker all the time.

Junior high is no big deal at all once you get used to it....

But! make sure you get off to a great start by doing every assignment you get in classes so you don't fall behid....

Teachers- not much to worry about...

Getting up on time? Try going to bed earlier and setting your alarm...

all this is just a new experience and you'll adapt...

Once you get the hang of all of this you'll be like "this was no big deal at all"

    Hope this helps!

  13. Well, I went to an art school where everyone was either homo-sexual, or homo-tolerant, so my high school experiences are probably gonna be different from yours, but the most important thing is to PASS YOUR ******* CLASSES.
