Ok. So I have a 10 month old son with epilepsy and my husband is currently deployed in the army. We want a big family and would like to have another baby now so they are close in age. My husband is coming home in october for 2 weeks and then will return overseas for another year. We are talking about trying for another when hes home in october. I need any advice possible for people who have had a husband overseas while pregnant. Any advice will help. Thank you.

  1. Wow, you are an amazing, strong woman.  I am not a military wife, but a military sister! It is very tough on the spouse, as you know. My sister in law got pregnant right before my brother left for Iraq, and she was just fine.  She had her family to support her, and when her husband came home, she was huge! Good luck, you are obviously a strong woman and will do fine!

  2. hi. i am an USAF wife. my hubby just left for a year in korea. we are currently pregnant with our 2nd baby (we have a 3 yr old little girl) i am only 9 1/2 weeks so far. so going thru this alone myself. it will be hard but worth it. i am currently under threatened M/C. so make sure u have friends around who can help out if the need arises. as for getting pregnant it is sometimes just a chance thing. since u oly ovulate once a month. try to get him to come back during the time u are most fertile. this can be hard. start taking a prenatal vitamin, and folic acid. um if u want add me as a friend. ill help u out as much as i can.
