Ok here's my question.

I worked at a day camp as a counselor this week. There's this other counselor that I worked with. At first he was all like "You're just a kid." Then he was like "You're the best." Then throughout the week he wanted me to come with him during Specials and always wanted me to sit next to him, holding my hand etc. At first I thought he just being friendly. But then on Thursday he asked me what my orientation was. That was kinda weird to me, due to the fact it's a Christian camp and all, but I told him that I was bi. Then he told me he's g*y and he likes me. Then we started to talk about how it would interfere with work and what the other counselors would think. So we decided we should wait. We exchanged AIMs and I'll be at camp the next 2 weeks as a camper in Teen Camp, so I'll see him. Now here's the problem, I'm 14, and he's 17. We really like each other and I've been thinking about him a lot.

What should I do?

  1. You're in a position of authority so I think it's best if you keep your 'relations' outside of the camp. Others would probably disapprove of it.

You're allowed to be friends, which is good. You should get to know this guy a bit better. You are a lot younger than him, so make sure he's not trying to use you.

Stay in touch when the camp is finished and if your feelings are still the same, see where it goes.
