I have meet a lady in mexico and I wish to live in mexico with her, my problem is I live in New Zealand and it is costly to fly there, I am 20 years old and so is she, I do not have alot of money and I have sold almost everything I own to afford the trip. The problem is that for me to be alowed in mexico as a tourist I have to have a return ticket and prove that I can suport myself for the duration of my stay, and in that case I can only stay for a month, but a month is not long enough, we want to get married and I think that a fiancé visa would be a good idea.

So my question is how do I get a fiancé visa into mexico? can we sort it out with me in new zealand and her in mexico?

if I have one am I alowed to work in mexico?

I hope someone can help, we are very much in love and it is very difficult being apart, all we want is to be together in the same country.

I hope my question is easy to understand, and again if someone can help me I will be very greatful

  2. Wow I feel sorry for you, that must be very difficult. That sounds like a really big commitment, moving to a totally different country that speaks an entirely different language.

How is your Spanish? Looks like the best idea would be to speak to Mexican Immigrations yourself.
