  1. what type of position are you trying to get?  you have no experience in IT...so I would say to get that experience asap so that you can update your resume with that skill set.  school is one thing; real time experience is another.

    good luck!

  2. Good Start:  I'd recommend 2 changes.  Make the bullet points you've currently got under the 2 jobs a mini-paragraph under each job (and don't worry when your spell checker says they're fragments).  Then under each job bullet point a couple ACCOMPLISHMENTS - example:  Lead year-end inventory team ensuring accurate and timely input into ERP system.  (or)  Recommended and implemented new display format, using Powerpoint created posters,  increasing sales of high energy drinks by 10% in first 30 days.  Make sure you're not making stuff up, and put in numbers whenever possible.  If you can relate it to the training even better:  Promoted to key-holder after 60 days and trusted to input accurate data into Peachtree software.

And secondly take another look at your Summary - you've got a good start but punch it up.  This is a quick advertisement - what do they want to buy??  PUNCH IT UP (i.e. how did you demonstrate your ability)  Something like " Results-oriented, customer-oriented, able to apply full Office Suite  and financial small business  software to ensure compliance with required office procedures and accurate business auditing, meeting aggressive timeliness.

  3. I used this resume writing service in my area, this is the email address, (resume.help50@yahoo.com) you should try them, it only cost me $35.00 and I got a great job from this new resume, I never thought about the format that they use but the turn around time was less then 24 hrs. I would have to say it was the best service I have ever used and it was worth every dime. Also they let me pay through paypal.

  4. Don't list the software under education.

I would instead put it under a separate skills section, or technology (something like that).

For previous experience, put all verbs in the past tense.

And lastly, the summary should change based upon the job you're applying for. It sounds too generic otherwise. You have skills that will fit the job in question? Highlight those, and expand upon them further in an accompanying cover letter (which you should do, regardless of whether or not they ask for it!)

Best of luck, and otherwise it looks really good! :)
