I need advice to give to my cousin. she has been homeschooled until 9th grade. anything that she should know?

Be who you are!! Don't worry about how the kids say you should behave.  They are just as confused as you.

The teachers all have their own style of teaching, so you have to be able to figure out each one to understand something.

No matter how nice you are, there is always some one out there who is going to make fun of you. Don't listen to them though. Its only school.

When the teachers resign you something, it means they think you can do better on it.

Make sure you get your work done before its due.

Don't carry to many things in your backpack, its hard on your back.

Organize your folders for each class, Its easy to know where your stuff is and what you need.

Actually study for text before you have them. and when you do take a test, focus on what you are doing. Don't look out the window or anything. Also, reduce your answers. If its multi questions, cross out the ones you know aren't the right answer, and then select wisely.

get involved in activities. Like sports and clubs, that way you get to know people.  

Have fun, don't over do yourself.
