Hi there, I'm in college, and today in Psychology we started talking about the brain, and beyond, in specific detail, for those that have taken psychology you probably know, but unfortunately I ended up passing out, I knew it was coming as soon as he started giving the days lecture, the teacher is a very good speaker, and likes to use his examples freely. I started feeling sick, then after a couple minutes the cold sweep started in which I started to feel cold, and my vision went black/grey colors, and boom I was out. I woke up one minute and thirty seconds later on the floor, with people around me, the teacher called 911, and I sat in the bathroom for a while, then got escorted home.
I've been dealing with this my whole life, this has happened about 4-6 times in my lifetime, but I've been able to fight it out without passing out which is very hard to do, this time I did not make it through, and ended up passing out.
I like this class, and I had everything to note, I'd like to continue this class but I know that we will probably continue to talk about things that cause the anxiety faint trigger, I could find ways to work around it I'm sure, but is there anything I can do to help my weakness of hearing about things that make me faint ? I wish there was a book or something to read, I couldn't find anything on the internet for help, I know it's mind over matter, but I need more than that.
