I need advice urgently?

Hi,I'm not from the States, and people here like to cheat. What happened was, my mom just bought rabbit pellets that have the same expiration date like the ones i bought a month ago. on both it says aug 26, but 08 on the ones i bought and 09 on the ones my mom bought. i'm convinced these people cheated, do you think i'm right; they never ever had the pellets that would be useful from a year on. do you think i'm right? thanx

Hello! The company probably made a mistake. I wouldn't worry about because usually those kinds of things have a very long shelf-life. You can write the company and tell them about the date and they might be able to figure out a way to find out when it was made and when the real expiration is. Good Luck!

well.. they might be cheating like you said. or they were not properly rotated like you are supposed to do with anything that has an experation date. i work in retail and i constantly find food that is stocked on my shelves OUT OF DATE that my employees didnt properly rotate when they stocked it. so it could be just that. some lazy *** didnt do their job right.

OR, it could just be that they didnt want to loose out on money by throwing it away. ive seen some ma-&-pa stores do that kinda stuff. go down there and raise h**l!!

they may have cheated on the expiration date, but i wouldn't be too concerned about it. rabbit, ferret, rat, mice food, & so forth have a long shelf life. if it is dry food [such as rabbit pellets] it should be ok.

It is not fair to make generalisation for an insignificant and isolated event. I also can see what is wrong with the expiry dates. I think you need to examine yourself if you tend to see "black and white". I do not live in US.
