I need advices of things to consider while making a solar oven?

So far I know that thing works by day in the winter. It involves two boxes one smaller than the other and recuperated news journals as isolating between the two. Then foil wrap on the smaller box inside and a Plexiglas hard sheet on top.

So far, for the summer, I've thought that it would do good to make a dark opaque cover for when it is not in use and to think about some small closable aeration holes in case we cook something that steam in case we separate oxygen from hydrogen by accident.

Am I overseeing something?

Also, later I would attempt to do some heliothermic energy recuperation for some combustion dependency replacement.

Do this sun oven sit directly out in the sun or are you using solar panels to power this oven?

If you so decide to use direct sun light you should take a look at this sun oven and build one similar.

This sun oven reaches a temperture of 350-400 degrees Farenheight.

Well thats a awsome project.I am a avid backpacker and i have made many ovens and its alot of fun.And uses free clean natural energy.From what you have said your write on the money. Im sure however there are people out there that knows more about what your doing than i.But like i said i have made many small ones.Also while your trying this new thing let me tell you how i have free hot water in the summer. I bought a roll of 100ft plastic 1 inch water line.i kept it in the roll and threw it up on the roof ( u can place it any place in direct sun) i ran rubber black high heat flex line to my hotwater line with a valve that i can easy get to.The water coming in is just hooked up to my outside water line.When the weater is good i simply turn the bypass valve on and i get my hot water from the sun.Mean time my hotwater heater stays off for sometimes weeks depending on the weater.Works great and the water will burn you it so hot from sitting in the sun.However if you have many people showering at the same time you will run out.I can take a long shower and not run out of water that is stored in the black line sitting in the sun.congrats to you for using the worlds free enegery.Next year i get 2 windmills for all my electric needs.hurray for me no more electric bill.And i even give some of my power back to the grid and get a little money out of it.!!!!!!!!!! i love green power its everywere you look and its free and healthy!!
