I need advise for a dirt bike...

Question

1) I need help convincing my dad to let me get a dirt bike. I will pay for it but I haven't asked him yet because if he says no, it's a no no matter what.

2) What would be a good bike to buy (my friends say a Honda 70 is good)...

3) I was thinking about buying the bike used. Good-Bad what? Where would i get it? Ebay?

4) Is it legal to ride a dirt bike on the side of a VERY non-busy road?

5) Is there anything else I need to know?

i ride my dirt bikes on my dead end street and they are 50cc-450cc it is illegal but most cops dont mind and if i see a cop i just pull to the side of the road.

Alright here's the deal.  You and you're Dad should both get a dirt bike.  It will be fun and a great bonding experience.   Riding is the best time that I ever spend with my Dad.  Honda 70 will be fine.  A used bike will be fine, but you need to take a friend who knows about bikes and have him do a good overview of it to make sure it's alright.  DO NOT BUY WITHOUT LOOKING AT IT!  You have no clue how easily you can get scammed.  Also if it seems to good to be true, it usually is.  It depends on what state you're in to ride along a road.  ANY ROAD TO BE EXACT.  I don't recommend it.  You can get hit way too easily.  Here's the deal, they make places to ride motorcycles, those places are not along the road.  That should be about all you need to know.  WEAR A HELMET.
