I need an AMV converter?

I bought a Delstar DS 3142 yesterday and it says the only videos it plays are (amv). Ok fine. So i went to media-convert.com and it changed the file however the file will not play on the the MP4 player. I tried converting everything to (.MP4) but it doesn't take. It says there are no files found. I that it can also play (WMP) but none convert to (WMP). I am at my wits end and i don't want to give up but this is slightly ridiculous. Nothing in this manual is helping and i seriously can not understand what to do now. Please assist me. Again it is a Delstar DS 3142 MP4 player.
