I need an Idea??

Question

Well, I am writing a short story (short as in 2 minutes) to make a short film. I don't have any ideas! It has to be a simple story. Can you think of an idea?

With all due respect, BIG SIGH.

   Is this an assignment? You seem totally uncomfortable and disoriented with having to do this.

   2 minutes to make a 2 minute film could be two weeks of production, unless this is a You tube video or some such.

   What totally amazes me is why YOU have no ideas, yet expect us to feed you an idea? YIKES, you must have some event you are familiar with, or one directly related to your own life that lasted two minutes.

   So,,,and again with no offense, you are NOT WRITING a short story, at least not yet, according to the Q, YOU WANT TO, might be more the truth?

   Beyond all that rhetoric, you might get 100 answers, or you may not get many more, when your Q is read, and wondered about in some essence of whatever happened to doing for oneself, originality, using what experiences you have, being creative, etc. etc. etc.

How about a family who all hates each other and then in the end one of the kids gets tired of it and kills his sister and the whole family all gangs up and kills the little boy... Wat do you think of that?

how bout a family that doesn't get along.  And in the end they see each others side and get along.
