I need an OB-GYN, Do you have any idea what this is???

Ok, I have a little situation that I need some answers or ideas on from an OB-GYN or someone who knows a lot about STD.

I have Dysplacia (A strand of HPV) and about 3 1/2 yrs ago had Acid treatments done to burn off Cancer cells. After my 2nd son was born (Aug. of 06) my pap came back normal, except for the HPV. I have not had a Pap Smear since about Oct. of 06.

About a year ago, maybe a little less. I noticed this little dot on the inside of my thigh. Wasnt super red or dark and only about the size of an eraser on a pencil..so tiney. Didnt really think twice about it. Since then, it has spread, but it only spreads to other parts of my skin that is touching it. And its only on the insde of my left thigh and the areas around that where the "rash" touches other skin. WHAT IS IT?!?! It gets darker in hot water, any time I get out of the bath or shower, Its A LOT more noticeable. But it goes away when my skin cools down. AND, it has taken nearly a year to spread a few inches. It does not feel any different then the rest of my skin, doesnt hurt, burn, itch..anything or anything else you would think typically comes with any rash.

Could this be something with my HPV?? Or something else? I will be going to the Doctor within the next week or two when my insurance kicks in, but until then, Id like to get some idea on what it is.

Any help at all would be appreciated so I can put my mind to rest until my appointment.

By the way, this is not Will...I am using my husbands Email.

Thanks.

  1. No, that's nothing to do with HPV. It sounds like it could be some kind of rash or infection or something. Go to a dermatologist.
