I need an agent!!!!!!?

Question

How do I get an agent? I am 14 with a bunch of acting experiance but I want to go further in the biz. Right now I am only doing 2 diff plays a year in Jr. Theatre but this year is my last year and you can only do so many school plays before school ends! I want tto go into commercials then tv shows and movies! but I don't know how to get an agent. :( How?

1. Take acting classes.

2. Do plays + try to get extra work.

3. Get professional headshots.

4. Build a resume.

5. Once you have enough experience and training, send your headshot and resume to agencies near you.

If they're interested in meeting with you, they'll contact you (probably not right away, so don't think that if they don't call in a week you didn't get it). And they'll set up a meeting with you and you might have to do a monologue in front of a camera or you might just have to talk to them for a while. It's different all around but all the times I've gone to an agency I've had to learn something there and do it in front of the camera.
