Im ar really athletic girl, I've played soccer since I was 4 and have played on All-star, premier and travel teams for soccer and baseball. I really want to play lacrosse or football but the gear is too expensive. I want to try a new sport (besides basketball), any ideas?

  1. Field hockey!

  2. Try volley ball!! it is fun and since you play soccer, you have to have good leg musscles so you might be a good attacker/ blocker. The gear is cheap unless you get the expensive stuff. You just need long socks, kneepads, and shorts.

  3. vollyball! soo fun and all you really need are vball sneakers and knee pads

  4. volleyball. Theres nothing much you need to purchase in terms of equipment or beach volleyball.  Or even Netball.  If youre not familiar with netball than watch the video below.

  5. ELEPHANT POLO BABY!!! OH YEAH I MEAN SERIOUSLY DIDYA EVER THINK OF DAT??? eheheheheH SO YEAH CHECK IT OUT I THINK IT'S PRETTY coOL!! I LOVE YOU!!! =D

  6. Flag football is fun.

  7. try something a little out of the box.  its really nice to do something during summertime that's not just outdoors on a field also.  being on a field with a team isn't the only way to define a "sport."

try something like kayaking, hiking, rock-climbing, surfing (there are a few different kinds).

  8. im a boy but, i would say definitly lacrosse if you are able to..ive played it since i was in 5th grade and i love it

    really good exercise

  9. Tennis is the way to go.. Both man and woman tennis is pretty competitive under USTA.  The association holds tournaments of all levels  pretty much every month in pretty much all cities.  its fun, very competitive and a social sport as well.

Besides, you'll be able to play it even when you get older since tournaments are classfied by age group or/and competitive level

  10. well lax would be perfect...and i would say field hockey but that the same problem

so i say Volleyball would the best for you

    and track wouldnt be bad

  11. Try Track and Field, you could be a good sprinter since you played alot of baseball and soccer. Also, the only gear you need is running shoes, normal athletic clothing, running spikes, and alot of water.

  12. softball, golf, horseback riding, volleyball

  13. Skateboarding?

    Thats a bit alternative =]

    x

  14. maybe you could try softball(16 inch is my favorite)

    Floor Hockey is fun

ping pong is very fun and addicting

  15. try volleyball! it is really easy to learn and it's really fun! also you can try cross country or track because it doesn't require lots of equipment

  16. Competitive Stacking

  17. Golf - goto a driving range and you can rent equipment

  18. You should think about doing Track and Field or cross country. Those sports keep you in peak physical conditioning and allow to learn how to pace yourself better so you become better at using your energy wisely in other sports. The cost is also not that much as good quality running shoes cost at upwards of $60 or more. Spikes are also that much but really not required unless your that serious about the sport and doing your best.

Check zappos.com for cheap shoes and also eastbay.com.

Check out runnersworld.com for more information about the benefits of running and you can also pick up their monthly magazine.

  19. tennis... it's a lifetime sport.

  21. TRAMPOLINING =] ITS FUN AND EXCERCISE =]

  22. tennis, track, or volleyballl

those are my next favorites after soccer and basketball

i was in the same boat as you, i play premire soccer year round, used to play AAU basketball, but ended up quitting to run track and play more soccer.

  23. Gymnastics

  24. skateboard, snow board or wakeboard or tennise or swimming

    GOOD LUCK

  25. Skateboarding. But some equipment is expensive. Unless u buy a walmart board or something. Also when skateing u need to find out whate kind of skater you are like a flip tricker, of grinder. Also vert or street.
