I need an attention getter for my speech about a car?!?!?

Bring in car parts like:

      steering wheel

      hub cap

      gas tank cap {make sure it doesn't have gas on it)

      keys

      horn (if possible)      

      mirror

Have the children handle the objects and tell why they are needed on a car.

Bring in different types of keys...(see children keys...that have a play alarm on them....they beep..I think fisher price or playskool makes them)..then bring in a regular set of car keys...

What kind of keys does your car need?

cut out huge keys out of cardboard

kids keys

regular keys

small keys and locks

match box cars?

or do horns....different horns...beep them as you are walking in....to do the speech....

the wheels on my car go round and round...

what age are you doing your speech for? gear it to their level...gear (no pun intended)

Descibe a car though a toad's eyes... Iike:

Imagine a huge thing cruises towards you. It's making loads of noise, and it's blinding you with bright, shiny lights. It has incredible speed, and won't stop. You've heard about this. It's a cruel, incredibly powerful, frightning, four-wheeled thing. Rumours go it's a way of transporting... You realize all this in less than a second and than the world turns black. (pause dramatically here)

Maybe you've not realized what I'm talking about. It a real everyday object nowadays, though it hasn't always been. I was describing a car.
