  10. My best one was a representation of depolymerization using a styrofoam cup and acetone found in nail polish remover. The acetone reacts with the styrofoam in the cup and eats the polymer, causing the cup to melt, leaving the remainder behind.

    I loved it and the little kids I demomstrated for loved it, too, peppering me with queries of its edibility, etc. I also dyed the acetone to make it look "magic". It's easy to find, but you definitely need a science-grade acetone to get the right Moles.

I think you should test those 'green' bags that they're advertising on TV that claim to keep vegetables and fruit good for a long time.  I find this claim rather suspicious, and their own methods for 'testing' leave a lot to be desired.  You can buy them at Bed Bath & Beyond, among other places.
