    Okay, here's an excerpt .... Act II Scene 1.

    "Full often has she gossipt by my side, and sat with me on Neptune's yellow sands."

  3. "Literature" is pretty broad. Hamlet is probably the best (and most commonly user) example (ie. it's what the rest of your class will have come up with).

    I can't "give an excerpt" because the entire play is a retelling of the Oedipus cycle. Compare and contrast. You may use the entire blue book.

    It's not literature, but "O Brother Where Art Thou" is a retelling of the Odessey. And it's got Clooney. Can't beat that for a dollar.
