I need an excuse for missing the first few days of class

Question

I'm leaving for a cruise and will be gone the 1st few days of online classes. It was the only time my hubby could take vacation so dont say u shouldn't have scheduled it plus i didn't know the date that school started. I don't think my instructors will sympathize with me if i say ill be in mexico on vacation. I just need to know the assingments early. Can anyone else think of a good excuse for going out of town. No deaths please.
